However, you also need to hire warriors to defend against enemies (with each attack cycle, the number of enemies increases by 2). When attacking, the number of your warriors decreases by the number of attacking enemies. If there are not enough warriors, you will lose. Each warrior consumes 5 food and 1 gold per meal cycle.
You will earn gold by selling food. During the sale cycle, you can sell 20 pieces of food, it will bring you as many units of gold as you have merchants. Merchants also need to be hired. They consume 3 meals each per meal cycle. After the invention of the market, the sale of food is carried out faster.
